DayCount Supply is a static web page. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no forms, no tracking pixels and no advertising. Nothing you enter into the planner is transmitted anywhere. We do not know who you are, we cannot see your household details, and we have nothing to sell, share or lose.
What stays in your browser
Everything you do on the planner happens on your own device. The household numbers you set, the climate and horizon you pick, and the quantities the page calculates all live in your browser's memory and disappear when you close the tab.
One exception: if you tick items on the buying checklist, those ticks are saved using your browser's local storage so the list remembers your progress when you come back. That data:
- never leaves your device;
- is not visible to us or to anyone else;
- is not shared between your devices, or with other people you send the link to;
- can be cleared at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.
If your browser blocks local storage, or you are in a private window, the page still works — it simply will not remember the ticks.
Fonts loaded from Google
The page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To serve them, Google receives a request from your browser, which includes your IP address and basic technical information such as your browser and operating system. We do not receive that information and have no access to it. This is handled under Google's privacy policy.
If you would prefer not to make that request, a content blocker will prevent it. The page will fall back to your system fonts and remain fully usable.
Our hosting provider
Like virtually all websites, the server that delivers this page keeps standard technical logs — IP addresses, timestamps, which file was requested, and the browser's user-agent string. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and reliability, not by us, and we do not use them to build any profile of visitors.
Links to other sites
This site links to government agencies, manufacturers and retailers. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy, not ours. We do not control what they collect and we are not responsible for how they behave. That includes any link that opens a shop.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site go to our own Amazon storefront, and we earn a commission on purchases made through them. This is disclosed where those links appear. Following one means Amazon can associate the visit with us for commission purposes, under Amazon's own privacy notice. No supplier pays to be listed, and nothing on the page is chosen because it earns a commission.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. We do not know how many people visit, which pages they read or where they came from. If that ever changes — if we add privacy-respecting analytics, for instance — this page will be updated before it happens, and the change will be noted with a new date at the top.
Children
This site is intended for adults planning for their households. It is not directed at children, and because it collects no personal information at all, it collects none from children either.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none. There is nothing in our possession to access, correct, export or delete. The only data this site is responsible for is the checklist state in your own browser, which you control directly and can clear yourself at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes — anything that alters what is collected — will be described rather than quietly substituted.
Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected]. We are a small independent project, not a company with a privacy department, and we will answer as best we can.
